Flexor Tenotomy
Dr. Cherpack performs in-office flexor tenotomies under local anesthesia.
The procedure is quick, easy to perform and heals quickly. This procedure is ideal for flexible to semi-rigid hammertoes. A rigid non reducible hammertoe does not usually benefit from this procedure and requires work on the bones in the form of an arthroplasty and/or a fusion of the joint.
